Minor repairs .
.
Most minor repairs are covered if they can be dealt with
while we are visiting the property.
.
. Our vehicle carries an arrangement of tools,
plumbing bits,
chains, padlocks,
.
and anything else that we think we might use!
.
. Minor repairs are intended to cover incidents like burst pipes
(if easily fixably on the spot).
. . If the leak can not be easily repaired
then the cost of the repair would be extra.
.
.
.Example 1: .
. Let me give you a "real life" example.
.
. One house had been broken into via the side door.
.
. Whoever broke in
also pinched the sink.
.
. The sink had been ripped
from the wall, water was flowing all over the floor.
.
. The cost of capping the water pipe
and resecuring the side door was covered.
.
.
.Example 2: .
. Let me give you another "real life" example, this time were the repair was not covered.
.
. We called at a house and found water coming up outside the house, in part
of the garden.
.
. We found the stop cock and shut the supply off.
.
. A Plumber inspected the problem.
.
.
A hole had to be dug and an underground piece of pipe
replaced.
. .
The cost of this work was 150 leva.
.
.
.Re-securring a property after a break in is covered if we can secure the property
whilst,
. we are there. If all the property needs is a length of chain and a padlock
then we cover this.
.
. However, if glass has been broken to force an entry, the cost of the repair is
not covered
. in our basic management charge,as we need to engage a glazier to fix the problem.
.
. Storm damage (roof tiles that blow off in a strong wind and the like) are not covered
. in our basic management charge.
.
. The idea is to keep the cost of inspections at a minimum.
.
. Extra insurance that covers
you upto £150 per visit is available at extra cost.
